Our Story

We built the thing we couldn't find.

John and Chelsea went through OCIA together. They made their promises at the Easter Vigil. Then they went home and looked at each other and thought: "Now what?"

Nobody hands you a manual for making your home a domestic church. Nobody tells you what liturgical living looks like at 6pm on a Tuesday with two kids who want to watch cartoons. They figured it out slowly, imperfectly, and often felt completely alone in it.

So they built the kit they wished had existed when they were sitting in those RCIA chairs with no roadmap.

What ages is Catholic Family Kit designed for?+

Catholic Family Kit is designed for families with children ages 3–10. Chelsea specifically builds each activity to work across this range — a 4-year-old and a 9-year-old can do the same activity at different depths. The Activity Guide includes discussion questions tiered by age. Many families tell us their 11–14 year olds are equally engaged, especially in the discussion portions.

When does the box ship? When will it arrive?+

We ship every kit so it arrives by the 25th of the month preceding the liturgical season. That means your November kit arrives by October 25th, giving you all of November to use it in rhythm. Subscriptions renew on the 15th. If you subscribe after the 15th, your first kit ships the following month. All plans include free US shipping.

Can I cancel? Are there contracts?+

No contracts, ever. Cancel anytime before the 15th of the month and you won't be charged for the following kit. Cancel after the 15th and you'll receive one more kit (already billed) before your subscription ends. Founding Member pricing is locked for as long as you maintain your subscription — but there's no penalty for canceling. You can also skip individual months instead of canceling.

Is the content doctrinally accurate? How do I know?+

Every kit is reviewed by a credentialed seminary professor of theology before it ships. Every activity guide, saint card, prayer, and educational booklet is checked for fidelity to the Magisterium and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. No other Catholic subscription kit offers this level of theological oversight. Open the kit and use it with full confidence.

Do you offer one-time purchases (no subscription)?+

Yes! Our shop has individual kits, card rings, activity kits, sticker books, and gift sets available as one-time purchases. No subscription required. The current month's kit is also available as a one-time purchase, often at a sale price. Browse the shop to see everything available individually.

Can I send a box as a gift?+

Absolutely — our kits make wonderful gifts for godchildren, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and fellow Catholic families. Simply enter the recipient's shipping address at checkout. You can gift individual one-time kits or purchase a prepaid subscription. There is no option for digital-only gifts at this time — the physicality of the kit is an intentional part of the formation experience.

What is the Founding Member price lock?+

Founding Members lock in $29/mo for as long as they maintain an active subscription — even after we raise our regular price to $39/mo. This is our way of honoring the families who believed in us early. Once Founding Member spots close, they're gone permanently. The rate lock applies to the same account and cannot be transferred, but there's no minimum subscription period.
